It all started when…
I was put in timeout in kindergarten for being too happy. My teacher told my parents that my happiness was a distraction. Fortunately my parents continued to encourage me to be myself. My genuine happiness, enthusiasm, and passion are who I am.
I approach all that I do and every speaking engagement with these qualities.
My approach is to make an impact by emotionally connecting with an audience to facilitate an understanding of often times complicated topics. I frame the topic(s) within a context that is relatable to the audience.
When conducting educational talks or training I open with broad concepts and move toward practical application (why -> how -> what). No matter what I am speaking about or to whom, connecting with the audience is always my goal.
