As I continue to progress through my career and embark on my mission to fulfill my life’s purpose, which is to help and guide others to heal, I observe a silent epidemic.

This epidemic, it touches every person in less-than-optimal health.  This epidemic, it keeps people I’ve worked with over the years so fearful they’ll stand still for years on their own healing journeys.  This epidemic, it’s traumatized so many of my current clients that I spend a portion of my time counseling people on how to navigate mainstream doctor appointments without anxiety, panic, and stress.

This epidemic, it’s paralyzed people on their healing journeys.  No more.  Today I’m calling it out and giving it a name.  Today, I’m shining a light on this epidemic in the hopes that the truth will come out of the darkness.

This epidemic I’m referring to is the epidemic of powerlessness and loss of control.  Do you see it?  Look closer.  Have you experienced it?  Think about it.

The traditional and mainstream health “care” system thinks they’ve got you all right where they want you: believing you have no power, believing they hold all the knowledge, answers, and solutions you need to achieve everlasting health and well-being and break free from your chronic health issues.  The system has you believing they hold all the cards, so you might as well give up your power and control over your own health and healing journey and just take that prescription for the rest of your life, right?!

WRONG.

The traditional health care system would prefer that you stay oblivious to this epidemic.  If you do, then they win.  If you do, then they get you to become dependent and reliant on their system.  Once you become dependent and reliant, then you’ll never leave and they can keep you inside their system for life where you will inevitably experience suboptimal health and quality of life.

It’s time.  It is time my friends.  Time to take your power back.  Has anyone ever told you the truth?  The truth is that YOU, yes you, that person looking back at you in the mirror and in selfies-OH, YES-there YOU are-are YOU ready for this?

The truth is that YOU, and only YOU, have the power to heal yourself.  You know who doesn’t have the power to heal you?  A doctor.  A specialist.  A surgeon.  A naturopath.  A reiki practitioner.  A holistic health practitioner.  A medical intuitive.

Let me make this simpler: NO ONE has the power to heal you, other than YOU.  Anyone of us who claim to be a doctor, helper, or healer of any sort-do you know what NONE of us have ever done?  Heal another person.  We are nothing but channels, conduits, facilitators, and guides.

I don’t heal anyone.  I facilitate healing for others.  The only person I’ve ever healed is myself.  Find yourself a doctor, practitioner, healer, etc. who has healed themselves and continues to heal themselves.  Why “continues”, you might ask?

I say find yourself someone to support you who continues to heal themselves, because the healing journey is LIFE long, it never ends.  Any good practitioner or healer will tell you this, too.

I want to restore your power to heal to the place it belongs, in your hands and heart.  Your power to heal does not belong with anyone or anyplace else.  Today I want to support you in taking your power back with some “healing yourself quotes”.
