I see you over there – putting on a brave face and trying your best.
But you don’t have to struggle alone.
In a world where we’ve been isolated too much over these past few years, so many of us desire connection now more than ever before.
A lot of people struggle to reach out when they feel alone.
Turning to social media can seem like a replacement for social support, but it can also be unhealthy for many reasons.
The constant impulse to compare ourselves to what we see on social media isn’t helpful and isn’t giving us positive connections either.
It may not seem like it, but all of that screen time is negatively impacting your healing journey.
If you see someone who appears to “do it all” – kids, family, running their own business, AND has time for their hobbies, self care and more – how do you really react?
When you see a perfectly crafted life where someone looks and feels their best (which is exactly that— tailored and crafted for Instagram) – what story do you tell yourself?
Are you truly inspired, uplifted, and feeling genuinely happy for this person?
Or, do you find yourself saying something like, “well if they can do it, I should be able to do it too, so what’s wrong with me? I’ll never be like that.”
Check in with yourself and really pay attention to how you feel about what you’re consuming online. Does it really make you feel positive and connected?
All of that comparing you’re doing to the people who are only showing their best hits online (trust me, they have 99 problems too!) can lead to making you feel like you have to show the world that you have it all under control.
When we think we have to put on a brave face in front of others and act like we, too, can do it all effortlessly, often that keeps us from reaching out for help.
And not only that, if you think you have to handle “it all” on your own and that reaching out will burden others – you’re creating an environment that will negatively impact your health and ability to heal.
There seems to be a misconception that reaching out for support is a sign of weakness or failure. That couldn’t be further from the truth!
We weren’t meant to go through life on an island in isolation. We’re meant to be connected. We’re meant to create communities in which we support each other.
Reaching out for help, support, and connection is a huge sign of strength and willingness to heal. Putting yourself out there tells the Universe that you are READY to heal and are 100% committed to creating a life that’s powerful, healthy, and free.
Acknowledging that you can’t do it alone and reaching out for guidance is a brave first step that will begin to steer you toward a new path.
Not only that, it also helps put things in perspective. Seeing that others are going through similar challenges shows you that you’re never alone.
What’s better than healing in a safe space with others who want the same thing— to heal and create healthy lives, who can relate to you, empathize and give feedback from a similar point of view?
In my Woman’s Wellness Collective, (it’s free to join, by the way) that’s exactly what you can expect— and more. And having access to a positive network of people who care is so helpful on your healing journey.
Inside this group, you will have an entire network of like-minded women from all walks of life to connect with, empower you, and to give you the unconditional, non-judgemental support you need to thrive!
This gives you a positive space to share your feelings, experiences and connect in a safe place free of judgment. I provide expert knowledge, resources, and tools you need to heal so you can transform mind, body, and spirit.
Stepping outside of your comfort zone and giving something or someone new a chance can be hard – but it’s only outside of your comfort zone that change is going to happen.
The path to healing doesn’t have to be so hard, it can be simple. And you don’t have to heal alone.
If you’re looking for connection on your healing journey – remember that I’m here for you, and so are the people waiting for you inside the Women’s Wellness Collective!
